Product Overview
The Drone Signal Simulator is a portable drone Remote Identification (RID) signal transmitter, professionally developed for drone system testing, equipment demonstration, and low-altitude security training scenarios. The device features a highly integrated all-in-one design, built with a rechargeable lithium battery, high-precision GNSS positioning module, GNSS ceramic antenna, Wi-Fi antenna and FPV video transmission antenna, realizing fully independent offline operation without external equipment support.
It can be quickly mounted on any drone airframe, broadcasting standard drone dynamic and static RID information via Wi-Fi Beacon, fully compliant with GB 42590-2023 and ASTM F3411-22a international and national standards. In addition to standard RID signal simulation, the device supports simultaneous multi-channel FPV video signal transmission, which is highly consistent with real civilian drone image transmission features.
The Drone Signal Simulator supports simulating up to 18 virtual drone RID signals and 18-channel virtual FPV return video signals at the same time. Multiple devices can work in parallel to build large-scale virtual drone swarm scenarios. With portable size, plug-and-play use and flexible APP parameter configuration, it is the ideal auxiliary device for low-altitude drone supervision testing, counter-drone equipment verification and professional security training.
Core Features
• Dual Standard Compliance: Fully complies with China national standard GB 42590-2023 and international ASTM F3411-22a standard, ensuring standardized and credible signal simulation effects.
• Wi-Fi Beacon RID Broadcasting: Adopts standard Wi-Fi Beacon signal broadcasting mode, accurately restoring real drone remote identification signal transmission rules.
• Multi-Virtual Drone Simulation: Supports up to 18 groups of virtual drone RID signal broadcasting and 18-channel FPV video transmission simultaneously, realizing drone swarm simulation.
• Customizable Signal Parameters: Freely adjustable signal transmission frequency band and output power, matching different test and training scenario requirements.
• High-Precision GNSS Positioning: Built-in professional GNSS module and high-performance ceramic antenna, supports GPS/BDS/QZSS multi-system positioning, with positioning accuracy up to 2.5m, ensuring authentic simulation of drone position information.
• Long Endurance & Portable Design: Built-in high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery, supporting more than 1.5 hours of continuous operation. Compact size and lightweight design for easy carrying and quick deployment.
• Independent & User-Friendly Operation: All functional modules are integrated independently, no wired connection required. Supports plug-and-play startup and wireless APP parameter configuration.
• Multi-Device Parallel Operation: Each device has an independent unique ID, supporting multiple units working in parallel to expand virtual drone simulation quantity.
Product Appearance & Interface Definition
• DC Charging Port: 5.5mm standard DC plug, compatible with 9~16V DC power adapter for fast device charging.
• Power Switch Button: One-key power on/off control; the indicator light will automatically light up after startup to confirm normal operation.
• Dual-Color LED Indicator: Displays real-time device status. It indicates charging progress during power supply and displays working status during signal simulation.
• Mounting Holes: Reserved M3 threaded mounting holes, convenient for fixed installation on drone airframes or test brackets.
User Operation Instructions
1. Plug-and-Play Default Operation
The Drone Signal Simulator supports one-key startup and immediate use. It runs with factory default parameters (1KM default simulation radius, standard power parameters) without complicated configuration. Multiple devices can work synchronously to simulate mass virtual drone signals for large-scene testing.
2. Wireless APP Custom Configuration
After power-on, connect the device’s built-in Wi-Fi signal via mobile phone or computer to access the dedicated APP. Users can freely customize core parameters including transmission frequency, output power, virtual RID quantity, FPV video channel quantity, simulation radius and drone ID information. Lower transmission power can be set appropriately to extend battery endurance for long-time tests.
3. Charging Operation
Use a standard 9~16V DC power adapter to connect the DC charging port for power supply and charging. The dual-color LED indicator will display real-time charging status to prevent overcharging.
4. Battery Level Prompt
After the device is powered on, the LED indicator will display the remaining battery level for the first 3 seconds: Green for full power, Yellow for 60% remaining power, and Red for low battery (need timely charging).
Application Scenarios
• Counter-Drone Equipment Testing: Simulates massive standard drone RID and FPV signals to verify the detection, identification and early warning accuracy of anti-drone systems.
• Low-Altitude Supervision Training: Builds virtual drone intrusion scenarios for public security and airspace management personnel to conduct daily defense training.
• Product Demonstration & Verification: Provides standardized virtual drone signal sources for anti-drone equipment display, project bidding and technical verification.
• Airspace Security Research: Supports custom multi-parameter signal simulation, meeting professional technical research and algorithm iteration test requirements.
